PRESS: Users reluctant to change mobile operator despite discontent

MOSCOW, Nov 30 (PRIME) -- The number of satisfied clients of Russia’s four major mobile operators – MTS, MegaFon, VimpelCom, and T2 RTK Holding – declined on average to 78% in 2017 from 80.75% in 2016, business daily Vedomosti reported on Thursday, citing a research of UBS Evidence Lab and bank UBS.

Despite a growing discontent, only 14% of respondents intend to change their operator, and this number remained flat on the year.

The bulk of respondents, or 52%, thinks they would not change an operator, as compared to 45% in 2016.

UBS Evidence Lab polled 500 smartphone-using respondents across Russia in October.
